The epicentre of Carnival

On the night of Tuesday of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival had only one address: Lapa. Who was there could comprove, the place was incredibly boiling. It was a mixture of everything that a good carnival are supossed to have and that we imagine of be. A lot of samba, mix of people, rhythms and fun. At around 1 AM, Right when I came, the samba beside to the arches melts the ears, and there, the most hipe people circulated around. It was a mixture of very nice people, boêmios (people who loves the night), Foreigner well dressed, natives, drags, among other artists, and also people that I don´t know how to define. At that time, the rain had stopped, and the climate was even warmer. Was perceptible in all, the feeling that at that moment it was the typical carnival in Rio that involved everybody - place more sensual, impossible! In the square, right in front of the arches, it took place a show sponsored by a brand of beverages, there I heard for the first time the electronic funk, and could comprove that in fact it was our genuine electronic music. The reaction of those who heard, without comments, perfect! I have heard and seen in films about the carnival in Lapa, but I do not expected to live that, what I had thought that neither existed more.
